Iran Seeks US Compensation for Stray Missile Attack
Iran will seek compensation from the United States for the losses caused by the strike of two US stray missiles on Iranian city during the US-British military attacks on Iraq last month, local daily Tehran Times revealed on Sunday.
An Iranian Foreign Ministry official told the daily that Iran is assessing the damages inflicted on Khorramshahr, southwestern Khuzestan Province and would lodge its complaint against the US following the assessment.
"Iran hold the governments of the United States and Britain responsible for the damages caused by the missiles," the official pointed out.
