Breakthrough in Treatment of late Liver Cancer

����Xiangya Hospital affiliated to Hunan Medical University works jointly with medical department of Japan Kobe University to conduct operation for a patient with his liver suffering from late cancer in a new involvement method. The operation lasted eight hours. In the operation, the doctors first made a small cut on the inguen and planted a specially made tube in the inguinal vein to segregate liver blood from the body circulation in order to diminish poisonous or side effect of medicine on the other part of body organ. and perfusate a large dose of chemical medicine into the cancer area through liver pulse tube. Chemicals injected into liver tumor were filtered by an extra body circulation machine and re-pumped into the system of body circulation. The patient could eat the second day after operation.
