A Brief Analysis of Clinton's State of the Union Address

There are two remarkable characteristics in US President Bill Clinton's State of the Union address made in Congress Tuesday.

First, Clinton's address is made from a long-term point of view. Some of his projects are not limited to his term of office, instead, they are items of work to be done in the coming 15, 55 years and even 75 years. Second, he stressed the issues related to the interests of the majority of the Americans. What he mentioned in the address has a bearing on all aspects of every American family and the US society.

Though Clinton did not say a word about the impeachment, what he said has become a strong defense for himself. It is clear that President Clinton not only wants to finish his presidential term, but also tries to go down in history.
