First Asian Super Basketball League Match Expected the Coming Summer

  The Asian professional super basketball league match is to be held on June 7. Cheng Wangqi, chairman of the Asian Basketball League announced today that 8 club or star teams from the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Taiwan, South Korea, Japan, the Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia (or Singapore) will participate in the match. The bonus is placed at a total of US$0.29 million.

  According to Xin Lancheng, secretary general of the China Basketball Association, China will send a A-Class team which will consist of three to four players from National Team to take part in the match. Most possibly, Hong Yuan from Guangdong Province will be the choice.

  Reliable sources say that Korea and Japan will not send their national teams to take part in the match.. According to a special rule set for the match, participating teams of China, Korea and Japan may have only one player from America; Taiwan and Philippine teams may have two foreign players; Thailand and Indonesian teams may have three. But for each match only two foreign players are allowed to appear in the court.
