Sweden Table Tennis Circle Uneasy about the Yugoslavia 's Unstable Situation

  According to Sweden Daily, Sweden table tennis circle expressed their concern about the Yugoslavian situation. They believe it will affect the world table tennis championship.

  As the chairman of Sweden Table Tennis Association said, before they sent a team to take part in the 45th world table tennis championship which will be held in April in Yugoslavia, they would consult the Sweden Foreign Ministry about the safety there. Otherwise, they would not send their athletes to participate in Yugoslavia world table tennis match. He said that the situation in Kosovo province "made people uneasy" and "no one knows what will happen there".

  Sweden Daily cited sources from the International Table Tennis League in London that it would be impossible to find another country or region to host the game in such a short time with only three months to go.
