Eight-dan Chang Hao's dream for perennial title was broken by seven-dan Zhou Heyang at the 4th NEC Cup Weiqi (go) Championship final in Beijing on January 16. Zhou became the new champion.
On the same day, Dong Yan won the title at the 2nd Xinxiu (promising young "Go" players) Cup final.
