Macao Social And Cultural Group Meets In Beijing 　　The Preparatory Committee of the Macao Special Administrative Region's social and cultural group held its eighth meeting in Beijing January 13. 　　Members approved a draft on the implementation of the second item of Article 24 of the Basic Law of the Macao SAR and a draft of how to use the regional flag and emblem of the Macao SAR, which will be submitted to its fifth plenary session for deliberation. 　　They also discussed celebration activities for when Macao returns to the mainland on December 20 and decided to submit a celebration committee motion to the chairman and vice-chairmen of the preparatory committee for examination and heard a report on passports and travel documents for the Macao SAR. 　　 HomeNews 1999-01-14 Page4 Full Story in Chinese
