Southwestern Chinese Airport Back to Normal Operation 　　Kunming airport, in the capital of southwest China's Yunnan Province, resumed operation on the morning of January 12 after having been closed for a day because of a heavy snowfall. 　　At 11:14 am, a flight from Kunming to Xishuangbanna left the airport thanks to the runway-clearing work of airport staff and a warmer weather. 　　The snow started falling early yesterday morning and piled up by 8:00 o'clock so that the airport had to be closed.
