Bridge Under Construction Shut Down By Order ĦĦĦĦA bridge being built in north Qijiang city, Chongqing, had been shut down upon order recently due to its serious quality problem. This bridge is only 1.5 kilometers away from the rainbow bridge which collapsed on January 4, killing more than 30 persons. US$8.6 million is invested in the bridge being built without any official approval. The contractor happens to be the same person undertaking to build the collapsed rainbow bridge.
