Rural Film Market Expanded in Guizhou ¡¡¡¡About 2 million farmers in mountainous Guizhou can enjoy at least 6 movies during the New Year's holidays and Spring Festival in 1999 since the provincial government has made an appropriation of 500,000 RMB for developing an expanded local rural film market. More than 140 film projection teams have been formed in 15 local counties and are demanded for film projection on at least 40 occasions by each team during the Spring Festival days.
