Singapore stocks finished higher on Tuesday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) up 35.69 points, or 1.16 percent, to close at 3,123.89.
A total of 5.06 billion shares changed hands with turnover of 1. 46 billion Singapore dollars (1.15 billion U.S. dollars).
Gainers outnumbered decliners 331 to 155, while 472 others finished unchanged.
The STI index gained 39.85 points, or 1.31 percent, to close at 3,088.2 on Monday.
