Lin Senhao, 28, a postgraduate student of the medical department of China’s prestigious Fudan University was sentenced to death in Shanghai Tuesday. He was convicted of poisoning his roommate in April 2013.
Lin used a deadly chemical compound from his lab to contaminate the water dispenser in his dorm on March 31, 2013; his roommate Huang Yang drank the water from the dispenser on April 1 and died of organ failure days later.
