BEIJING, Sept. 18 (Xinhua) -- The Communist Party of China (CPC) is willing to enhance cooperation with political parties in Arab countries to strengthen China-Arab relations, a senior official said Tuesday.

While meeting with an Arab delegation, Wang Gang, a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, said that promoting China-Arab relations through cross-party cooperation is the common aspiration and responsibility of the two sides.

Wang, also vice chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, said cooperation between China and Arab countries has witnessed significant results in recent years.

Wang called on the two sides to further strengthen exchanges on governance experience, enhance mutual friendship and deepen mutually beneficial cooperation.

Mohamed Yatim, a senior official of the Justice and Development Party of Morocco and vice president of the Moroccan Chamber of Representatives, said the Arab side is willing to strengthen communication with the CPC to promote China-Arab relations. Most viewed commentaries
