Kazakhstan launches "China through the eyes of Kazakhstanis" book

ALMATY, July 12 (Xinhua) -- "China through the eyes of Kazakhstanis", a book aimed at strengthening understanding between the two nations, was launched here Thursday to mark the 20th anniversary of their diplomatic ties.

The book, published by the Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies, consists of personal experiences, travel notes and memories of Kazakh government officials, political scientists, sinologists, teachers and journalists who visited China and plunged into modern life and the distinctive world of Chinese culture.

Those attending the presentation included the first vice-president of the Chinese Foundation for International Studies and China's ambassador to Kazakhstan.
