Philippines should have self-knowledge over island dispute

The Philippines not only provoked the “Huangyan Island Incident” but also keeps giving tough speeches and making troubles out of nothing. Damaging the China-Philippines relations, destroying the regional peace and stability and ignoring fundamental principles of international relations, the Philippines has gone too far.

It is an indisputable fact that the Huangyan Island is China's inherent territory. The Philippines' territory claim over China's inherent territory is already a rude offence to China. China has specifically stated many times the legal bases for the fact that China has the territorial sovereignty over the Huangyan Island. Can the Philippines tell us which basis is wrong, which one is illogical or which one does not accord with international laws? For the fact that the Huangyan Island has absolutely nothing to do with the Philippines, China also has made clearly explanations in detail by referring to historical facts, fully showing that China has great patience and a board mind.

Actually, China is completely capable of choosing a different way for the issue. However, China's actual deeds showed once again China's will of choosing a peaceful development road, sincerity of cherishing the China-Philippines relations and self-discipline of safeguarding the regional peace and stability.
