Indian National Security Advisor hosts banquet for Chinese Special Representative for boundary talks

NEW DELHI, Jan. 16 (Xinhua) -- Indian National Security Advisor Shivshankar Menon Monday evening hosted a banquet for visiting Chinese Special Representative for Sino-Indian Talks on Boundary Issues and State Councilor Dai Bingguo in the Indian national capital here.

Dai said at the event that over the past several years, the meetings of Special Representatives of China and India on Sino- Indian Boundary Issues have contributed to the maintenance of peace and tranquility on the border areas of the two countries, as well as the development of bilateral relatons.

He said China-India relations have achieved great development over the past few years and have huge potentials for further development and wide perspective of cooperation.

Dai said the World is experiencing huge and profound changes at present. This, he said, is providing a rare opportunity for both China and India to engage in their respective development and common development.

He pointed out that Sino-India relations have evolved beyond simple bilateral relationship into a strategic partnership of global weight. The two countries should play greater role in the forming of a new world political and economic order based on fairness and reasonableness, and play a greater role in global affairs.

india china friendship is very ancient when chinese travelers crossed the mountain and got biggest gift of budhism and india got precious historical treasure of events regaurding its kings like harsh vardan and asoka and told invalueable desciptions of nalanda and other budhist places.both countries should say no to hostility for good.
