Chinese, Thai banks sign pact to launch joint lending to investors

Thailand's Kasikorn Bank (KBank) CEO Banthoon Lamsam (L) and Li Jiping, executive vice-president of China Development Bank (CDB), shake hands after signing a Memorandum of Understanding at the KBank headquarter, Bangkok, capital of Thailand, on Dec. 22, 2011. The two banks signed a business and financial pact on Thursday to accommodate lending to large projects in Southeast Asia and to improve financial standings and business opportunities for both banks.(Xinhua/Rachen Sageamsak)
