The friendly relations between Pakistan and China have reached a new height, Masood Khan, Pakistan's ambassador to China, said in an interview on Dec. 5.
Khan said that this year both countries are celebrating China-Pakistan Friendship Year and have each held a series of events aimed at strengthening bonds.
Bilateral relations have reached a new height thanks to the concerted efforts of the governments and people of both sides. China and Pakistan have maintained their traditional "all-weather" friendship in a rapidly changing world and actively supported each other on major issues of common concern.
Since the beginning of the year, the two countries have conducted frequent exchanges between youth, students, officials and entrepreneurs of both sides in various areas, and further reinforced bilateral economic and trade cooperation. Khan expressed thanks for the efforts of the Chinese government and people in promoting the Pakistan-China friendship as well as for their support for Pakistan.
Khan said that China is developing rapidly at an unprecedented speed and hopes that China will maintain rapid growth in the future.
