China, Africa trade volume to hit 150 billion

Trade volume between China and Africa in 2011 is expected to exceed 150 billion U.S. dollars.

On Nov. 28, the Second China-Africa Industrial Cooperation and Development Forum was held in Beijing.

Wang Cheng'an, administrative associate director of the China Society of African Issue Studies, said at the forum that the total trade volume between China and Africa for 2011 is expected to reach between 150 and 160 billion U.S. dollars, and annual trade volume is expected to exceed 300 billion U.S. dollars in three to five years.
