BEIJING, Nov. 28 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale jolted China-Myanmar border region at 11:06 p.m. Beijing Time (15:06 GMT) on Monday, the China Earthquake Networks Center reported.

The epicenter, with a depth of 7 km, was initially determined to be at 25.1 degrees north latitude and 97.6 degrees east longitude, the center said.
