Beijing, Nov.22 (People's Daily Online) -- China on Monday told the United States to stay out of the South China Sea dispute.

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Liu Weimin yesterday responded to a question at a briefing on whether China and America could consult with each other over the South China Sea issue.

"The South China Sea issue is complicated and sensitive," said Liu. "Based on the international experiences, this kind of issue could only be resolved bilaterally between countries directly involved."

Liu believed that the parties directly involved have the wisdom to solve the disputes on their own, and there is no need for external forces to intervene.

The South China Sea contains some of the world's busiest shipping lanes as well as oil and gas reserves.

China holds a U-shaped area of the sea, which overlaps the ones Philippines, Vietnam and other neighboring countries claim belong to them.

American President Barack Obama last week pledged increased U.S. engagement with the region and a strong military presence, including the deployment of U.S. Marines to Darwin in Australia.

"Judging from the current situation, outside intervention will only complicate the South China Sea issue and will not help resolve it," said Liu. (Li Zhenyu)

by Ho Sai YuenFolks, let"s face the fact about what I call a "defeated" U.S. U.S. and its so-called Coalition of Willing have be forced by local public resistance to evacuate their fighting forces from Iraq and Afghanistan. The local people have been able to resist the damned Americans. Now they need to find a new enemy and that is China.Because China has remain peaceful and prosperous and mindful of its own territorial affairs for too long!!! Hence, the devious U.S. with Obama and Hillary Clinton are hell-bent on inciting the countries of Southeast Asia to go against the Chinese who are the real owners of these islands. The U.S. government is morally fearful and jealous of the rise and prosperity of China and it has to target it as an "enemy" in order to justify causing trouble throught this region. However, the losers, in the end, are the Americans and those Southeast Asians who are conned into believing that they could contain China. But this is only a perception and not a reality. China cannot be contained!!! For these Southeast Asians are the real losers when Americans are forced to leave this area just as they are forced to leave the Middle East in the end. American politicians are like the proverbial ostriches...they keep burying their heads in the sand, become vain and arrogant, until they are kicked properly. And they wake up too late!!!

The US is the greatest hypocrite. Under the disguise of human rights and democracy, the US has colluded with its Allies to invade sovereign nations and caused untold miseries to the innocent people. The US and Western nations controlled the media and they use the media to spread lies and aired twisted information. The Chinese people has learn from the past when its country was invaded by a united nations of several countries. This is when the government is weak and the people are poor. Thus China"s rise in economic and military strength are for its own security and prosperity. All the talk about China"s threat and its assertiveness to its neighbors are all concocted lies created by the US CIA and government, and the puppet regimes in the region to smear the image of China. The US Senate is nothing but a congress of baboons. Its advocacy to punish China because of Yuan exchange rate is far-fetched and an interference in the internal affairs of a sovereign nation. What right has the US to determine the future of a sovereign nation and the ideological path it has to take? Just mind your own business. The common and poor Americans in US needs more help from the US government than the countries in Asia Pacific.

The territorial disputes in the South China Sea are none of US business! China MUST enforce its sovereignty rights in the South China Sea!

If China keeps bullying its neighbors, they have no choice but to seek international help
