Senior Chinese military officer to visit DPRK

BEIJING, Nov. 14 (Xinhua) -- Director of the General Political Department of the People's Liberation Army (PLA) Li Jinai will lead a senior military delegation to pay an official good-will visit to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) from Nov. 15 to 18.

Li was invited by the DPRK's Armed Forces Department.

The visit aims to further deepen the friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries and their armies, and maintain regional peace and stability.
