Chinese, Indonesian FMs meet on ties in Hawaii

HONOLULU, United States, Nov. 10 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi met here Thursday with his Indonesian counterpart Marty Natalegawa on bilateral relations and other topics.

Yang and Natalegawa exchanged views on China-Indonesia relations as well as regional and international issues of common concern.

The two sides agreed to maintain close communication so as to ensure positive results at the East Asia leaders meetings to be held in Bali, Indonesia.

The two ministers met two days before the 19th annual Economic Leaders Meeting of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) forum hosted by the United States.
