Chinese, Pakistani leaders hold talks ahead of SCO meeting

ST. PETERSBURG, Nov. 7 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao and Pakistani Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani on Monday held talks on bilateral ties ahead of a meeting of the prime ministers of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).

Both leaders vowed to continue to promote bilateral cooperation in various fields.

Wen arrived in the Russian city of St. Petersburg on Sunday to attend the 10th Meeting of the Prime Ministers of the Member States of the SCO due to open later on Monday.
