Canada's Senate speaker to visit China

BEIJING, Oct. 8 (Xinhua) -- Noel A. Kinsella, Speaker of the Senate of Canada, will start a nine-day visit to China starting from Saturday, a press release from the General Office of China's National People's Congress (NPC) Standing Committee said.

Kinsella was invited by Wu Bangguo, chairman of the NPC Standing Committee.
