China's top legislator starts visit to four nations

BEIJING, Sept. 14 (Xinhua) -- Wu Bangguo, chairman of the Standing Committee of China's National People's Congress (NPC), left here on Wednesday morning to visit Russia, Belarus, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.

During his visit to Russia, Wu will also attend the fifth meeting of the China-Russia Parliamentary Cooperation Committee, according to the press office of the NPC Standing Committee.
