BEIJING, Sept. 8 (Xinhua) -- Vice Premier Li Keqiang on Thursday said China welcomes foreign companies, including those from Sweden, to further cooperate with their Chinese partners in high-tech, service and energy-saving sectors to achieve win-win results.

Li made the remarks while meeting with a delegation of the Wallenberg family, a prominent Swedish banking group at Zhongnanhai, the government compound in downtown Beijing.

Li hailed Sino-Swedish relations and cooperation in politics, economy and culture, and the family's contribution to China's economic growth and bilateral friendship.

Peter Wallenberg, the 85-year-old patriarch of the family, pledged to expand investment in China to boost bilateral economic ties.
