June 7, 2013 was a special day for Du Yaqian and her family. Du and her family had been working hard for the day. They hope that the National College Entrance Examination which started on the day will change Du's destiny.

Du, 18, from Hefei city of Anhui province, suffers from brittle bone disease, a rare disease caused by mutations in the gene. The global incidence is from 1/10000 to 1/15000. People also call the brittle bone patients "porcelain dolls", because they are like easily broken porcelain. Any action may lead to bone fracture.
