Glamorous, exciting, highly rewarding job are the words we hear when people talk about airline captain; flying a plane sounds so cool and mysterious. People know their life only from some films or TV dramas. What is the real life of a captain like?

Yan Ming, a captain with China Eastern Airline, is a serious and committed person. To him, one cannot call himself a qualified pilot until he successfully lands his last flight before retirement.

Before Yan accepts a flying mission, he must take a strict exam about knowledge of flying skills, weather of destination, and etc.

Meeting precise requirements, keeping flight safety and ensuring passenger's security is every pilot's duty.

The following photos show a working day of Yan Ming.
