The Babaoshan Funeral Home will start providing specialized makeup services for deceased women before April 4, Beijing Youth Daily reported Tuesday.

The three mortuary cosmeticians in the makeup workshop, all women aged 24, have won awards on corpse makeup at the Third Vocational Skills Competition in Beijing.

The service will be launched in response to families who want delicate makeup for their loved ones, including wigs, eyelashes and accessories. It is also a way to address families’ concerns over male cosmeticians dressing female bodies.
