Historical imperial castle: Town of family Zhu in Ji country

The town of family Zhu locates in Checheng village of Ji country, Shanxi province. The descendants of Zhu Yuanzhang built this "imperial castle"  and lived here from a generation to generation for more than 600 years.  Zhu Yuanzhang was the founder and first emperor of the Ming Dynasty of China. His era name Hongwu means "vastly martial" and his temple name is Ming Taizu. Nowadays, the imperial castle is dilapidated, with the gate, wall, and buildings turning old and shabby. (Photo/Chinapic.people.com.cn)
