Disappearing flavor: Traditional Luonan handmade noodle

People's Daily Online)  15:08, February 06, 2013

Luonan handmade noodle is the traditional and folk food in China which has a long history; its production skill began in the Western Han Dynasty, and its golden age in 1970s and 80s. Nine cooking tools are used in the production which consists of more than 10 procedures. It is well known for being “white, fine, firm and tasty”. The complex and unique production skill has profound connotation, but the skill is almost lost. (Photo/Chinapic.people.com.cn)
