Ornamental hen gives birth to tiny egg in China's Chongqing

Photo taken on Oct. 18, 2012 shows an egg with two coins of 1 Jiao (one tenth of a yuan) in Chongqing, southwest China. An ornamental hen gave birth to an egg that is 2 centimeters long on Oct. 15, 2012. The egg weighs 2.58 grams and it is smaller than a coin of 1 Jiao. He Daiyou, owner of the ornamental hen, said that he would try to apply for the Guinness World Record for the world's smallest chicken egg. (Xinhua/Liu Chan)
