77 killed in 7/21 Beijing rainstorm

Beijing, July 26 (People’s Daily Online) --The death toll of Beijing’s worst rain in more than 60 years has risen to 77, according to Beijing’s Flood Control and Drought Relief Office.

Identities of 66 dead have been confirmed and those of other 11 are still under investigation. The victims include 61 civilians (36 were males and 25 were females) and five public servants.
