Formaldehyde detected in Lux, Dove's Shampoo

Free formaldehyde was detected in Lux, Dove's Shampoo in Taiwan, whose products belong to the Unilever multinational consumer goods company. But the shampoo's release meets related standard of cosmetics health management in Taiwan.
Environmental chemistry expert Dong Jinshi said formaldehyde is carcinogen, therefore manufacturers have the responsibility to indicate harmful substance containedin their product for customers' selective buying.
