Seven missing after minivan plunge in central China

WUHAN, April 28 (Xinhua) -- Seven people were missing after a minivan plunged into a river in Hubei Province on Saturday night, local authorities said.

The accident occurred at about 9 p.m. when a minivan carrying eight people fell into a river in Guojiaba Township in Zigui County, local fire fighters said.

Only one person was rescued, and recuers are searching for the seven who remained unaccounted for so far.
