BEIJING, March 10 (Xinhua) -- Following are some quotes on promoting equality in basic public education service from Cai Dafeng, a political advisor and vice president of Shanghai-based Fudan University, at the annual session of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference National Committee on Saturday:

-- Equality in basic public education service among different regions must be promoted for social fairness.
