One dead after SW China bus crash

CHONGQING, Feb.27 (Xinhua) -- Local police have confirmed that one person has died and another 20 have been injured after a bus overturned on Monday afternoon in southwest China's Chongqing municipality.

At about 1:10 p.m. Monday, the bus crashed through a guardrail and fell into a ditch in the Chongqing section of the Chongqing-Zhanjiang highway, said local police.

As of 3 p.m. Monday, the 20 injured people are being treated in hospital.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
