Sun Jungong, spokesman of the Supreme People’s Court of China, said that the Court will deal with a financial fraud case of Wu Ying, an ex-billionaire by law and with caution.

Sun said that the case had attracted widespread attention during the first and second trial that sparked outcry.

A few days ago, the Supreme People’s Court received the death sentence checking and approval application from Zhejiang Higher People's Court.

He said the fraud case, involving a huge amount of money, was quite complicated. The Court will stick to the legal procedures and deal with the case by law and with caution.

Wu Ying must not be executed! She has committed no murder, and mainly borrowed from her friends. To end her life would be a miscarriage of justice. Give this nice intelligent lady a pardon and release from prison as quickly as possible! If she is executed, it will discourage many from visiting China! Foreigners feel much more comfortable visiting a nation that is humane, just, and respects human life!
