27.5 million smart phones infected in 2011

In 2011, the number of infected smart phone in China surpassed 27.5 million and the number of malicious softwares and Trojan Horses increased by 8,714, according to the “2011 China Smart Phone Security Condition Report” released on Feb. 13, 2012.

In addition to malicious charge, stealing users’ privacy has become one of the major hazards of mobile phone Trojan.

Spam message is also a major problem that troubles Chinese phone users. Of the spam messages, discounts messages account for nearly 40 percent while the proportion of fraud, phishing and other malicious messages is 24 percent, according to statistics.
