HARBIN, Feb. 5 (Xinhua) -- Five people were killed late Sunday after their car hit a tree in northeastern China's Heilongjiang province, local authorities said.
The accident occurred at around 8 p.m. after a sedan carrying five people crashed into a tree by a state road in Shuangcheng city, police said.
Traffic police are still trying to find out how the tragedy happened.
