Four injured after bus veers off highway in central China

WUHAN, Jan. 13 (Xinhua) -- Four people were injured after a tourist bus veered off a highway in central China's Hubei Province Friday afternoon, local authorities said.

The accident occurred on the highway near the city of Xianning at about 4 p.m., a spokesman with the city's traffic police department said.

The bus, with over 40 people on board, went off the road after being hit in a chain collision, said the spokesman.

The four only suffered slight injures and police are investigating the accident, he added.
