Beijing airport cancels most departing flights due to heavy fog

BEIJING, Dec. 6 (Xinhua) -- Dense fog has forced the Beijing Capital International Airport to cancel all the departing flights operated by domestic carriers before Tuesday midnight, an airport source said.

With visibility at less than 400 meters, the airport has canceled all the departing flights run by Air China, China Eastern Airlines, China Southern Airlines, and Hainan Airlines.
