No more 'dirty' gifts

The year's end coupled with the New Year holiday has long been considered a prime time to present gifts to friends and family members in China. However, the country's longtime tradition has somehow been twisted in to a thriving season for corrupt officials.

To combat this, the government has come up with harsher methods to crackdown on corruption and bribery that  often accompanies the year's end.
