N China bus collision kills four, injures 17

HOHHOT, Nov. 24 (Xinhua) -- Four people died and 17 others were injured after two buses collided head-on in the city of Yakeshi in north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Thursday morning, police said.

The accident happened around 10:12 a.m. on a road linking Yakeshi and the Ituri River.

Two people were seriously injured and 15 others were slightly injured. All of the injured have been sent to a local hospital for treatment.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
