An infrared camera set by the Qiyuan Tree Farm of Dongfang Hongye Forest Industry Bureau in Heilongjiang province has recently captured the image of a wild Siberian tiger on Wandashan mountain area for the first time.

The Dongfang Hongye Forest Industry Bureau under the Heilongjiang Provincial Forest Industry Bureau found signs of Siberian tigers, including paw prints, impressions left by crouching and evidence of predation on wild boars, at many tree farms from April to September this year.

To better track and monitor the activities of Siberian tigers, the World Wildlife Fund provided Dongfang Hongye Forest Industry Bureau with three infrared cameras, which have succeeded in taking pictures of a Siberian tiger. Pictures show that the tiger is quite strong.
