ZHENGZHOU, Nov. 5 (Xinhua) -- At least four vehicles fell into the river after a bridge collapsed in a central Chinese city on Saturday morning, local authorities said.

No casualties have been reported so far.

A bridge collapsed in the city of Xiangcheng in Henan Province at around 5 a.m. after an overloaded sand truck drove onto it, said the city's publicity bureau.

The bridge was built in the 1970s. Investigation into the cause of the accident is under way.
