China establishes food safety risk assessment center

A National Center for Food Safety Risk Assessment was established on Oct. 13 in Beijing to ensure food safety.

The center is the first professional institute to assess risks in the food industry of China. It will make risk assessment, inspection, precaution, communication and food safety standard for the food industry.

Currently, the center has more than 300 monitoring spots around China.
