Water level of E. China's Hongze Lake rise above alert level

A maritime affairs staff worker patrols in Hongze Lake, east China's Jiangsu Province, Aug. 20, 2011. Due to the continuous rainfall, the water level of the Hongze Lake in Jiangba township rose to 13.58 meters at 8 a.m. Saturday, 0.08 meter higher than the alert level. (Xinhua/Zhang Jian)
