Netizens fight to save beloved Shanghai graffiti wall

There is a 600-meter-long graffiti wall in the well-known Shanghai M50 Creative Park. Since 2006, graffiti amateurs and graffiti art groups of Shanghai have been dedicating their creativity, inspiration and colorful paintings to this wall, the largest graffiti wall in Shanghai. Now, this wall will be demolished by the end of this year for construction reasons. Upon hearing this news, numerous netizens appealed to protect this unique visual art and street culture via microblogs and forums.
